A deep sense of sorrow has gripped residents of Kakamega County after a well-known father of five was found dead just hours after attending a burial in the neighborhood. The man, identified as Peter Wanyama, reportedly left home on Friday morning in high spirits, telling his wife he would be back before evening. Sadly, that was the last time his family saw him alive.
According to family members, Peter had spent the day at a friend’s funeral where he actively participated in organizing the event. “He was cheerful and full of life. No one could have imagined that something tragic would happen,” said a close friend who was with him at the burial.
