Committee on Works and Infrastructure in Ogun State House of Assembly led by the chairman, Mr Adegoke Adeyanju has commended the quality of construction works in some of the ongoing road projects in the state.
The committee however called on the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure to strengthen its supervision on some other ongoing road rehabilitation projects to aid quality control.
Mr Adeyanju made the call while leading other members of the Committee, including Mr Yusuf Sherrif, Mr Lukman Adeleye, Mr Wasiu Ayodele, Mr Samsudeen Lawal, Dr Babatunde Tella, Mr Yusuf Amosun and Mr Wahab Haruna , during an oversight inspection of the projects.
They include: Adesanolu Road in Mowe-Ibafo, Magboro Road in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Siun on the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway, Lantoro Road, as well as Saje- Elega road on Baptist Boys High School, in Abeokuta.
