A female police officer attached to the Ogidi Division in Kwara State has been found dead after being kidnapped by unknown armed men in the state.
The officer, identified as a Woman Inspector who served as a prosecutor in the division, was reportedly abducted on Thursday.
Her remains were, however, discovered on Friday morning, a police source disclosed to newsmen.

It was learnt that the officer was kidnapped and killed in the Oloje area of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Details surrounding her abduction and killing remain unclear as of press time.
Kwara State has been grappling with rising incidents of banditry, killings, and kidnappings, forcing many residents to abandon their communities.
Police authorities in the state have yet to issue statement on the latest sad incident.
