Residents of communities along the 110-kilometre Ibadan Circular Road corridor have threatened a peaceful protest should the state government fail to address their grievances over its alleged land expansion. The aggrieved residents, under the aegis of the Ibadan Circular Road Communities Forum, made their position known on Thursday at a press conference held at the NUJ Press Centre, Ibadan.

The Convener, Adeniyi Fasoye, and Secretary, Isiaq Jimoh, alleged that the state government unilaterally expanded the project’s Right of Way (RoW) from 75 metres to 500 metres on both sides.
