In a statement, Dr Kalu emphasised that voting is a vital aspect of determining the community’s destiny and choosing the right leaders. He encouraged residents of Abia State to maintain the progress they have achieved and make their voices heard by selecting representatives who genuinely reflect their interests.
“Your vote is your voice, and it’s essential to use it to shape the future of our state and nation,” Dr Kalu stated. He highlighted the significance of voter registration, noting that it is a crucial step towards ensuring that every eligible citizen has a say in the country’s leadership.
The INEC voter registration exercise has made significant strides, with over 6.8 million registrations nationwide. Dr. Dru’s call to action aims to inspire more eligible voters to participate in the process.
