Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has congratulated Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke on his appointment as the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Until his appointment, Aneke served as the Air Officer Commanding, Mobility Command, Yenagoa.
In a statement issued by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Ebiuwou Koku Obiyai, on behalf of the governor, Diri described the new Air Chief as a “fine gentleman” whose professionalism and experience would further strengthen Nigeria’s security framework.
