A light-hearted complaint from a social media user has got people talking after photos featuring a group of female National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members went viral.
The photos, which has been circulating online, shows a lineup of corps members, all smiling and posing happily in their signature khaki trousers and white vests. What caught the attention of one online commentator was the physical build of the ladies in the frame.
In a funny observation, a man voiced his mock disappointment, suggesting that the NYSC posting system had been unfair. He joked that the officials had “selected all the chubby thick girls” and posted them to a single location, leaving other areas without.

His solution? A more even distribution. He humorously suggested that the corps should have mixed the “chubby and slim ones” so that everyone gets a fair share across the country.
He further teased that the ladies looked so similar they could be siblings from the same family.
In his words, which he posted alongside the photo:
“This is pure cheating naa. They selected all the chubby thick girls and post them to one location. Are you trying to pepper the rest? See as them be like siblings.”
The photos has since sparked a wave of reactions from other social media users, with many joining in the fun. While some agreed with the man’s humorous take, others defended the posting process, stating it is usually random.
The NYSC is yet to comment on this particular viral moment, but it has certainly provided a moment of comic relief from the usual discussions surrounding the national service scheme.
