In a recent video on Facebook from 3:21, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has prophesied a significant transformation within Nigeria’s road transport and safety system in the coming years. According to the cleric, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will undergo sweeping reforms that will affect its operations, appearance, and responsibilities.
“In the next five, six years, the plate number, Nigerian plate number, will be changed,” Ayodele revealed. “And I see road safety carry gun. Road safety, they will carry gun, their uniform will be changed. Even the driver’s license—the content and composition of the driving license will change.”

Ayodele’s prophecy suggests that the FRSC may evolve into a more security-oriented agency, possibly integrating law enforcement duties into its traffic management functions. The prediction has sparked conversations about whether Nigeria’s government is considering arming the corps in response to growing insecurity on the nation’s highways.
The cleric also hinted that the redesign of plate numbers and driver’s licenses would be part of a broader national reform that could introduce new technologies and identification features. He described the development as both a modernization effort and a sign of shifting government priorities in transportation and security.
“This will be a major reform that will surprise many Nigerians,” Ayodele said. “The government will change the entire system—uniforms, number plates, licenses. It will be something new entirely.”
