The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has called on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, to focus more on service rather than ego.
This was contained in a statement by the ADC-FCT Publicity Secretary, Chukwudi Samuel, on Friday in Abuja.
The statement said that Wike’s attack on the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, was undignified of the office he occupies.

DAILY POST reports that Wike had slammed Obi’s visit to a government primary school in Abuja, where he decried the dilapidated infrastructure and poor learning environment.
According to the statement, Obi’s observation should have provoked action from the minister, and not irritation.
“Leadership is about service, not ego. If a citizen, no matter who he is, points out decay in governance, a responsible minister fixes it, not fights it,” the party stated.
