Nigerian carrier Air Peace is set to launch a new monthly commercial schedule connecting West Africa to the Caribbean, with the inaugural flight commencing on December 21.
The service will operate from Lagos, Nigeria, and Accra, Ghana, linking the two West African economic hubs to the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda.
The route is designed to further facilitate travel and, importantly, includes onward connections to other major Caribbean destinations like Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
This strategic expansion positions Air Peace as the only airline currently offering direct flights from the West and Central African regions to the Caribbean, a significant step in enhancing intercontinental connectivity.

The move is viewed as a major catalyst for boosting tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two regions, which share a deep historical and cultural affinity.
The new route builds on Air Peace’s previous successful Caribbean operations, which included a Lagos–Montego Bay (Jamaica) charter flight in 2020 and a service to St. Kitts and Nevis in 2025.
By establishing this regular, scheduled service, the airline reinforces its strategic vision to bridge continents and unlock new commercial and travel opportunities.
Air Peace has partnered with tour agencies in Nigeria and Ghana to offer attractive package deals, signaling a concerted effort to promote the Caribbean to the African travel market.
Fares for the monthly scheduled flights are now live, allowing customers to book directly through the airline’s official channels.
